Right, bright logo will win a computer

ARTISTIC people could win themselves a computer in a competition run by Thanet and East Kent Chamber of Commerce, recently re-formed after the collapse of the Kent Maritime chamber.

Now the new group needs a logo and is appealing to local schools, colleges and businesses to design one. The designer of the best one will win a new computer donated by M-Wise computers of Westbrook.

A spokesman said: "We don't mind if small or large companies, colleges and schools would like to take part. The logo should be catchy, bright, innovative and symbolic of all that the chamber stands for, in colour or black and white, and on a sheet of plain A4 paper."

The competition closes on Tuesday November 12. Entries should be sent to Lorna Wells, Manager, Thanet and East Kent Chamber, Kent Innovation Centre, Thanet Reach Business Park, Millennium Way, Broadstairs, CT10 2QQ. For more information visit www.tekc.co.uk
