Rush to be at September show

COMPANIES are booking well ahead for stands at a business show to be held in Folkestone. The Shepway 2002 Business To Business Show, at the Leas Cliff Hall on Thursday September 19, gives firms a chance to show off their wares.

This year the event promises to be the largest ever, with space for more than 80 exhibitors. There will be 50 stalls in the main hall with exhibitors to include National Windpower and Hollis Motors. The public sector will also be well represented with Business Link Kent, HM Customs and Excise and the Kent Guidance Consortium.

Companies which have exhibited at the show before and have already booked stands for this year's event include Independent Insurance Services, En Route, South Kent College and Pitman Training. In response to demand last year, smaller companies are to be catered for, with stand prices costing from £105. They will be set up on the balcony overlooking the main hall.

Peter Hobbs, chief executive of the Shepway Business Centre, said he has been delighted with the response so far. He said: "With a bigger and better show for 2002 we are confident of a full house of exhibitors.

"Companies from all over Kent have been attracted by the publicity we have been provided by Business Works, our media partner and we are hoping to accommodate everyone within the larger exhibition area." For more details phone Shepway Business Centre on 01303 270022.
