There are now places available as a technical, software and finance apprentice to apply for in 2022.

As a Technical Apprentice, you’ll spend three years learning how to create and maintain world leading technology, working towards becoming a fully qualified Technician at one of the biggest technology employers in Kent.

"Our Finance and Software apprenticeships will also offer the chance to learn new skills and earn professional qualifications whilst working on the job.

An apprenticeship offers a different route to employment for those people who might not want to take a degree at University.

First year Technical Apprentice at BAE Systems Leah Hudson said: “I chose the apprenticeship route because I’m a more practical learner than a textbook or lecture learner. I find it best for me to be able to do activities to help my understanding of the subject.

.

"My hope for the future is to become an electrical engineer and work on planes and other aircraft. I believe this apprenticeship will help me on my journey to getting into the aerospace industry.”
