VISITORS to Harveys in Aylesford Retail Park, near Maidstone, will join television presenter Cheryl Baker in swapping distressed fabric for de-stressing massage and yoga sessions when the furniture store holds its ‘Relax At Harveys’ day on Saturday.

Professional masseurs will be on hand to provide neck and hand massages, and bottles of massage oil will be handed out.

A “sofa yoga” instructor will also be there to give live demonstrations on the best posture and breathing positions to ensure people get the best from their couch.

Joel Moore, store manager, said: “We want to create a stress-free environment because it’s sometimes difficult to tell in a busy store whether a piece of furniture will be right for your personal relaxing needs.”

Cheryl Baker will appear from noon to 1pm. Sofa yoga and massage will run between noon and 3pm.
