TWO Medway men has appeared before a judge at Maidstone Crown Court accused of murdering a 31-year-old man in Chatham.

Trevor Brown 39, of Brookmead Road, Cliffe, near Rochester, and Alan Sykes, 25, of Johnson Avenue, Gillingham, are alleged to have killed Alistair Maddison in March.

Mr Maddison was stabbed in Chatham's Magpie Hall Road in the early hours of the morning. At Friday's hearing no pleas were entered. Brown and Sykes were remanded in custody until their next court appearance on June 9.
