2 men found dead after suspicious blaze

IT HAS been confirmed that the second body discovered in a bungalow fire was also that of a man.

The bodies of the two men were found in the front room of a bungalow in Croxley Green, Orpington, at about 5.50am on Saturday.

Police were earlier able to identify one of the bodies as male on Saturday morning, but could not confirm the gender of the second until later.

Officers from Orpington, Bromley, Sidcup and Eltham attended the blaze which was under control by about 7am.

The fire is being treated as suspicious and is under investigation.
