The A21 has now reopened after a crash near Lamberhurst this afternoon.

It comes after a sweeper lorry broke down in the first lane of the northbound carriageway near the Lamberhurst bypass at 1.40pm.

Then another vehicle hit cones and swerved across the carriageway, crashing with another vehicle before going through the central reservation.

The driver suffered minor hand injuries.

The full length of the Lamberhurst bypass was closed, but this is now back to normal.
