A level students get results across Kent and Medway today

The wait is nearly over... and A level students are today set to hear if they've gained the crucial grades needed for university or a good job.

With a rustle of one small envelope, futures can be decided.

Students across Kent and Medway will be getting their A level results today - and we'll be bringing the highs and lows of schools' results.

But if you or your child don't get the dream grades university clearing could be the answer.

Once the results are in, students can start calling the universities they are interested in and most of them will be able to make an offer over the phone.
