Appeal after death crash

POLICE have renewed their appeal for information after a fatal crash which claimed the life of a 31-year-old man.

The man's blue Ford Orion left the road and hit a tree on the A227 at Ightham, near Wrotham. The man lived in Tonbridge but has not yet been named.

Inspector Ian Morgan said: “We would be very grateful if anyone who saw the car as it was travelling, or witnessed the incident, could contact us. It would greatly assist our investigation.”

The accident happened at about 11.15pm on Friday. Anyone with information is asked to telephone 01732 771055 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
