Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler wants his side to build on Saturday’s win over Burton with another three points on Tuesday night against Southend.

Cody McDonald’s goal won it for the Gills at the weekend and Hessenthaler knows the importance of putting a run of results together following a disappointing start to their League 2 campaign.

Speaking after the game on Saturday, the Gills boss is looking forwad to another home test against Paul Sturrock’s Southend.
