Bank robbery suspects remanded

TWO men have been charged with robbing £7,500 from a Kent bank at gunpoint.

Ian Upson, 20, of Madeira Avenue, Bromley, and Herbert Kulsomu, 25, of Deronda Road, south London, appeared at Tower Bridge Magistrates' Court on Friday charged with armed robbery at HSBC in West Wickham High Street, on Wednesday, conspiracy to rob banking premises and possession of a firearm.

They were remanded in custody until a hearing at Inner London Crown Court next month.

Three other men in their 20s arrested in connection with the enquiry have been bailed to return to a police station next month pending further investigation.
