A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after being involved in a crash with a caravan.

The incident happened on the A249 on Friday afternoon at Stockbury.

The rider suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Maidstone Hospital by the Kent Air Ambulance.

He remains in a critical but stable condition.

The passenger suffered a broken leg and internal injuries and is in a serious but stable condition.

The victim's next of kin have been informed.

Anyone who witnessed the crash should contact the Serious Collision Unit at Kent Police on 01622 798 538.
