A piece of the forthcoming James Bond film Skyfall has come to the famous London department store Harrods.

A window display featuring the Land Rover Defender 110 double-cab pick-up that will be driven in the film's opening sequence is to be part of the store's ground floor scenery until October 27.

In the film scene the battered Landie is driven by field agent Eve, played by Naomie Harris, whose previous roles include Tia Dalma in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and Selena in 28 Days Later.

The window display includes studio lighting, cameras, a megaphone and a director-style chair in a mock-up of an on-set environment. A Land Rover logo is also being shone onto the pavement outside the building.

The Skyfall-themed displays take up much of the ground floor, with giant, illuminated `007' logos flanking one of the entrances. The 23rd film in the franchise since Dr No in 1962, Skyfall depicts Daniel Craig as Bond, faced with a test of loyalty towards Judy Dench's character M, as her past comes back to haunt her.
