Boys quizzed after teenager is stabbed

KENT Police are appealing for information after an assault in which an 18-year-old man suffered a stab wound to his thigh and abdominal area.

Police officers were called to Harold Street, Queenbrough, near Sheerness, at about 8.50pm on Monday following a report of an assault.

Two 15-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of GBH. They were being held in police custody.

Detectives are keen to speak with any witnesses, in particular those who may have seen a red Mercedes in the area at around the time of the incident. People are asked to contact Swale Police on 01795 584040.
