A NEIGHBOURHOOD police officer is launching a series of surgeries for residents in the Twydall area of Gillingham.

From Wednesday, 7 March, PC Alex Bain will be setting up shop at The Woodlands Youth Centre, Woodlands Road, Gillingham, and inviting residents to come and discuss policing issues with him.

The surgeries, which will run between 6pm and 8pm on the first Wednesday of each month, will be held on a one-to-one basis.

PC Bain said: "I want to hear about the issues that concern the people living in Twydall so I can work with both them and our partners to make a difference.

"These surgeries are designed to allow residents direct access to their local neighbourhood officer and I am looking forward to meeting those who live in the area I serve.

"The surgeries are open to all members of the community who are invited to discuss policing issues. By communicating and working together we can make Twydall and even safer place to live."

PC Bain is based at the Rainham Contact Point and can be contacted on 01634 792692 or by email: twydall@kent.pnn.police.uk
