Come on then - what's your view on the rumpus at the Beeb?

On the day the BBC's director general is meeting the broadcaster's governing body over the row involving Jonanthan Ross and Russell Brand, we want to know what you think should be done about it.

Brand has resigned in the wake of the prank calls made on his Radio 2 show, while Ross has been suspended and issued a public apology.

Mark Thompson will today meet the BBC Trust - which represents licence fee payers - to talk about how the phone calls, which made comments about the granddaughter of Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs, were allowed to be broadcast.

Meanwhile, KentOnline readers have left comments on the site airing their opinions.

Philip Wilks, from Dover, agrees with Tony's hardline approach. "These are two overpaid [entertainers] who think they can get away with belittling people," he said.

"Never mind suspending them, they should be sacked."

But Michael Reginald, from Birchington, thinks the whole thing has been blown out of proportion.

He writes: "What a waste of time! Yet another example of how we've become obsessed about the small silly things in life and turned our backs to the important things that really do have an effect.

"Let the apologies of these guys be enough."
