Couple's ordeal as robbers burst into their home

A WOMAN was hit over the head with a stick and pushed to the floor by two robbers who burst into her family home in a Kent village.

The woman and her husband were sitting in their living room when the two men forced open their front door.

After hitting the wife, the raiders put the woman and her husband into one of the bedrooms and locked the door.
