KENT Spitfires won the Twenty20 Cup with a thrilling last-over victory against Gloucestershire in the final.

In the semi-final Kent defeated their old rivals and near neighbours Sussex Sharks.

Spitfires seamer Ryan McLaren bagged a hat-trick in the final to help limit the Gladiators to 146-8 off 20 overs before Kent edged home with three balls left.

Darren Stevens rescued the spluttering Spitfires with 30 not out off 21 balls and hit the winning four off a no-ball.
