Curtis Weston looks set to be the only addition to the Gillingham squad for Saturday's match against Lincoln.

The midfielder is trying to shake off a thigh injury and manager Andy Hessenthaler is hoping he makes it in time for this weekend.

Hessenthaler has only been able to name six substitutes, from a possible seven, in the last two games due to a crippling injury list.

"Curtis will probably be the only one available for the weekend," said Hessenthaler, who had previously hoped to have Cody McDonald (foot), Barry Fuller (knee) and Dennis Oli (hamstring) in contention.

Those three, along with youngster Jack Payne (dead leg) and striker Mark McCammon (hamstring), are not now expected to return until the following weekend, when the Gills travel to Morecambe.

Hessenthaler added: "I don’t think Curtis is completely recovered but he should go back into the squad. We are looking a lot better for next week once we get this game out of the way."

Danny Jackman, meanwhile, will meet a specialist to decide on whether to operate on his knee.
