Darren Stevens named in England squad for Hong Kong Sixes

Kent's Darren Stevens has been named in a seven-man England squad for the Hong Kong Sixes.

Australia, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka will also take part in the competition which will be staged at Kowloon Cricket Club on Saturday October 31 and Sunday November 1.

Stevens said: "I'm delighted to be going to Hong Kong with England. I enjoyed a great Twenty20 Cup this year and I hope that I will be able to continue my good form in this upcoming competition.

"We have a strong squad and hopefully we can replicate the form of last year and defend our title."

The full England squad is: Chris Read (Nottinghamshire), Jamie Dalrymple (Glamorgan), Darren Stevens (Kent), Graham Wagg (Derbyshire), Graham Napier (Essex), Peter Trego (Somerset), Rory Hamilton-Brown (Sussex).
