DETECTIVES have released a CCTV image of two youths they want to speak to in connection with a robbery on a train.

Two 15-year-old boys had their mobile phones and money stolen after being made to empty their pockets and bags on the line between Hayes and New Beckenham.

It happened after they were intimidated by two men in the carriage at about 6pm on February 15.

Det Con David Chenery from the British Transport Police south London robbery squad said: "The two victims then attempted to leave the train at Clock House, but were prevented by the suspects. The pair was eventually allowed off the train at New Beckenham."

The first suspect is described as white, aged about 20, with dark hair and wearing blue jeans and a beige coat.

The second suspect is described as white, aged about 17 or 18 and was wearing a striped hooded jacket with white, grey and black horizontal strips, dark coloured bottoms and a black baseball cap.

Anyone with any information is asked to phone the witness appeal line on 0207 391 5275 quoting background log B4 of 04/07/2007.
