The Duchess of Cornwall had to fend off a boisterous police dog during a visit to Kent.

The 16-month-old German Shepherd, Gunner, tried to grab a souvenir from around her neck during an official visit to Keston, near Bromley.

It came as the wife of Prince Charles

chatted to his handler Pc Matt Geeves.

The young dog is four weeks into a three-month training course.

Camilla was visiting the Metropolitan Police's dog training centre.
