Eight countries in eight days for bikers

Seven bikers set off on an eight-day adventure across Europe yesterday.

The riders from the Sheppey Bikers' group left Sheppey on their Honda bikes and plan to visit eight European countries in eight days.

The 2,000 mile trip will be mark the 10th anniversary of the group.

They set off from organiser Renato Magri's home in Barton Hill Drive, Minster.

He said: "We will cross France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, Lichenstein, Austria, Italy and Switzerland.

"This will be our longest ride yet but next year we hope to go as far as Russia."
