A fusion of folk, indie and dance music are on the play list for the Sellindge Music Festival 2008 this weekend.

The two-day event, at Hope Farm, Gibbons Brook, is in its third year and with a variety of acts signing up, this year’s festival should be the best yet.

Headlining the main stage on Saturday are Idlewild, The Hair, and Canterbury acoustic singer songwriter Syd Arthur.

On Sunday, Mark Morriss, formerly of the Bluetones, will keep festival-goers entertained with songs from his debut solo album, Memory Muscle and the BBC Introducing Stage on Saturday will present new artists like Star Chamber, Seven Story Down.

Sellindge Music Festival will be held at Hope Farm, Gibbons Brook, Sellindge, on Saturday and Sunday June 7 and 8.

Tickets, costing £20 for a day and £40 for the weekend, are available by visiting www.sellindgemusicfestival.co.uk.

Entry at the gates cost £22 for one day and £44 for both days.
