Firearm drama

Emergency services were called to an address near Bedgebury Forest yesterday after reports that a firearm had been discharged.

The incident happened at around 3pm, at an address in Bedgebury Forest, between Cranbrook and Goudhurst.

Police and ambulance crews attended.

Kent Police later said they were treating the incident as a legitimate use of a firearm and no offence had been committed.

They added that no one had been hurt and they had spoken to the shotgun owner.
