This Nissan Micra overturned in Watling Street, Chatham

The driver of this car had a lucky escape after it overturned in a busy street.

The Nissan Micra flipped onto its roof in a crash with a Vauxhall Vectra in Chatham

Police closed the road while they dealt with the smash, in Watling Street, shortly before 6.30pm yesterday.

Paramedics were sent to the scene, but it is believed no one was hurt in the crash that caused tailbacks for motorists travelling towards Chatham.

A Kent Police spokesman said the road was re-opened at about 7.35pm.
