Flying high for ten years

Tricks and tips, skill demonstrations and celebrations marked the rousing tenth anniversary of the Revolution skatepark.

Dan Palmer from the Dane Valley complex between Margate and St Peter’s said the event was a great success and added: “We

want to say a big thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate with us.”

The indoor complex - with a range of ramps and circuits, together with outdoor ramps and pipes plus a climbing centre - has made Revolution one of the Thanet’s top youth attractions.

On Saturday, August 9, the skaters from iFive will give a demonstration between 2pm and 6pm, while the details for the summer programme including beginners, girls skate days, and a series of competitions for skate, bmx and inline, can be found at Revolutionskatepark.co.uk or telephone 01843 866706.
