The man was attacked in The Stade, Folkestone

Four boys are being hunted after a man was bricked near Folkestone harbour.

The 52-year-old was walking along The Stade when a brick was thrown at his face by teenagers.

The victim was knocked unconscious and taken to the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.

He needed seven stitches to his cheek and also suffered bruising, swelling and a cracked tooth.

The man was walking from the Sunny Sands beach when he was attacked between 5-5.30pm on Friday, July 27.

Kent Police are looking to trace four white teenage boys, one of whom was possibly wearing green swimming trunks.

Witnesses are urged to phone PC Kirsty Gee on 101, quoting crime reference ZY/20975/12, or Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
