THE funeral of a father-of-three who died after being attacked during a burglary at his home is taking place in a Kent town today.

Mark Witherall, 47, died in hospital in March five weeks after being assaulted at his house in King Edward Street, Whitstable.

Mourners will gather at St John's Methodist Church in the town at noon.

Two people have been charged with his murder, while two other people have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.
