DETECTIVES are appealing for information about an attempted robbery at Dynes Road Post Office at Kemsing, near Sevenoaks, last night.

Three men entered the shop by smashing through the glass in the front door. But they failed to get through glass surrounding the counter and fled empty-handed.

The men drove away in a silver coloured Volvo which had been stolen from Surrey in November. The Volvo was later found abandoned in Kemsing.

There is no clear description of the men but it is believed they were wearing balaclavas or baseball hats.
