A man has been charged in connection with an incident where a woman was pushed onto a Kent railway line.

Lin Buchanan, 58, was shoved onto the tracks at Farningham Road station at around 7am on Wednesday, August 6. She suffered a fractured wrist and bruising to her legs.

A 30-year-old man from Dartford who was arrested and bailed five days after the incident, has now been charged with GBH.

He has been granted conditional bail and is due to appear before Dartford Magistrates' Court on September 10.

British Transport Police said on Saturday that no further action will be taken against an 18-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with the incident.
