The Gillingham forward has just completed a loan stint with Bishop’s Stortford and heads straight back out to join the Ryman League Division 1 South promotion hopefuls.

His chances of winning a place in the Gillingham first team squad are limited. He is well down the pecking order as manager Mark Stimson has a number of strikers at his disposal.

Erskine joined the Gills in the summer from Bromley but has made just five sub appearances and one start. That came during Gillingham’s Football League Trophy game against Colchester.

He is one of 12 players out of contract in the summer at Gillingham.
