Gillingham take a team to Millwall on Tuesday afternoon for a practice match.

The Gills will field a mixture of second year scholars and fringe first team players in the game at Millwall’s training ground.

Caretaker youth boss Bryan Bull is expected to take charge of the match, with manager Andy Hessenthaler keeping a close eye on proceedings.

The club are soon to decided on which scholars they plan to offer professional contracts to and the game could be an important one for them.

Several first team players will also look to make an impression, with strikers Stefan Payne (pictured) and Andrew White out to get some goals.

Luke Rooney and Lance Cronin could also feature in the game, which kicks off at 1pm.
