ADDING some extra ‘va va voom for the summer, Renault has unveiled its new Clio Model, the Extreme 3.

Sales of the ever-popular car have passed the 750,000 mark, helped by offering a wide range of engine sizes - from a 1.2 to an impressive 3 litre v6 with 255hp.

The temptingly-priced three-door Extreme offers upholstered sports seats in grey, with orange exclusive Extreme 3 barcode logos.

This unique orange detailing also features on the instrument dials, dashboard and trim strip. The fascia inserts are in a silver-grey metallic finish, as are its seat belts.

For those seeking something a bit different, it is available in a one-off colour, metallic “Extreme Orange,” while other colour options include royal blue, metallic platinum or pearl black.

Additional equipment for the Extreme 3 includes body coloured sports rear spoiler and door mirrors which add to the attractiveness of the car.

Among its many other standard features are ABS with electronic break distribution (EBS), emergency break assist, multi-function trip computer, tinted glass, leather steering wheel and 30 watt CD player with digital radio.

On the road prices start from £8,495 for the 1.2 16v petrol and £9,195 for the 1.5 dCi.

The Clio Extreme offers a top speed of 106mph and 0-62 mph of 13 seconds.

The 1.2 engine achieves 47.9 miles per gallon, which is seven better than the average in its class.
