Guard house for homes

The Guard House at the Historic Dockyard Chatham was built in the mid 1700s to provide accommodation for the on-site marines providing security to the site.

Alongside the entrance at the northern end of the site, today it offers a good standard of period office premises within an attractive and historic setting.

The 107 sq m of space is made up of a reception area, two smaller offices and a large open plan office suite. There are a number of attractive period features including original wooden panelling and open fireplaces.

Nearby is the new Chatham Maritime development providing office, retail and educational facilities, along with a large residential development on St Mary's Island.

The Guard House is available with Cluttons for £11,500 pa. For more details contact 01622 607404.
