Head injury man dies in hospital

A MAN who was discovered outside a public house suffering from a serious head injury has died in hospital.

An ambulance was called to North Street, Strood, at around 3.15pm on Thursday, November 23, following a report that a man was unconscious outside the Angel pub.

The 32-year-old local man was taken to Kings College Hospital in London. Police spokeswoman Sally Smith said: "Sadly the man died on Sunday at 7am."

The man has not yet been named. Det Insp Mike Morgan said: "We are not treating the man's death as suspicious and have handed the findings of the police investigation to the coroner."
