Help find driver who threw egg at moving car

KENT Police are appealing for help to identify the driver of a silver coloured VW Golf who threw an egg at a passing car, causing the windscreen to shatter.

A woman was driving in Eastbridge Road, Dymchurch, near Hythe, at about 7.25pm on Monday when the incident happened.

There were two men in the Golf, both in their late teens or early 20s. The driver had spiky hair. The last three digits on the number plate were G T U.

PC Phil Harvey Hendley said: “We would like to speak to the driver of this car so we can give him some appropriate advice. If the lady had crashed as a result of her windscreen being hit, it could have caused an injury or worse.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Folkestone Police Station on 01303 850055. Alternatively, if you want to remain anonymous call Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
