This man is being hunted after a sex attacker with a high-pitched voice and large fingers assaulted a teenage girl as she walked to school.

He sexually attacked the 17-year-old as she walked along a footpath in the Millennium Community Woodland area of Ashford.

The attacker was wearing a distinctive black cap with a red peak.

He is described as about 6ft, white with tanned skin, of plump build and with very large fingers.

The man is thought to be aged about 43 to 45 and spoke with a slightly high-pitched voice. He was wearing dark jeans and dark Army-style boots.

The offence happened between 7.45am and 8.30am on Friday, June 29.

Kent Police have now released this efit of a man they are hunting.

DI Chris Carter said: "We talked to people in the area of the woods on Friday - a week after the assault. It is an area popular with dog walkers and we were keen to ensure that we had as much information as possible about this man."

Leaflets have been delivered to houses in the surrounding area appealing for information following the assault.
