A new form of fighting hit the streets of a Kent town.

Witnessed by hundreds at the Gillingham Street Arts Day, part of the Medway Fuse Festival, the madness saw youngsters goaded into hitting each other. But don't worry, it's all cotton and feathers.

In fact, it was one-to-one combat to find the ultimate winner of the Pillow Fight Cup - and the first rule of Pillow Fight Club is no-one gets hurt.

Contestants fought 30-second battles encouraged by the promoter, who went only by the name Mr PJ, and his masked henchman - who looked like he had already been in one too many scuffles.
