It looks like 'Slimer from Ghostbusters' has broken in says Kent Police CSI after finding green substance

The discovery of the 'slime' was revealed on Twitter this morning by Kent Police CSI.

A picture showed it smeared all over a windowsill and an open window.

The tweet said: "When you attend the scene of a burglary and it looks like Slimer from Ghostbusters has broken in..."

It continued: "Either that or we have little green blooded aliens committing burglaries."

Washing up liquid and shower gel were among the suggestions from people replying on Twitter.

Slimer was a green ghost made entirely from Ectoplasm and is said to have been the first to be caught by the Ghostbusters in the film franchise.

Perhaps this is one for the Ghostbusters?
