Jams after driver is hurt in crash

A MAN suffered neck injuries this morning when his car was in collision with two other vehicles on the M20.

The accident happened shortly before 6.30am on the London-bound carriageway of the motorway, close to junction four at Leybourne, near West Malling. Miles of rush-hour tailbacks began to build up and by 7.30am queues stretched at least as far as junction six for Sandling, near Maidstone.

The man with the injured neck was taken to Maidstone Hospital, although his injuries were not thought to be serious.

Two other people involved in the crash suffered minor injuries and did not need hospital treatment.
