A coroner today ruled three soldiers shot in their Helmand patrol base by a 'rogue' Afghan colleague were unlawfully killed.

Major James Joshua Bowman, Lieutenant Neal Turkington and Corporal Arjun Purja Pun were all from 1st Battalion The Royal Gurkha Rifles.

The inquest in Wiltshire heard the Folkestone-based soldiers died in the early hours of July 13 last year.
