Kent University student hit by swine flu

A Kent University student has become the 11th person in the county to be diagnosed with swine flu.

The female student - who studies at the Canterbury campus - is under observation and in quarantine at the university's medical centre.

The university remains open for business.

Nationally the number of people suffering from the disease has exceeded 2,000.
