The man behind next year's Olympic Games is in Kent today, talking to school children about how they can get involved in London 2012.

Lord Sebastian Coe, chairman of the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG), is in Medway, urging schools to sign up to the nationwide School Games competition.

The aim of the tournament, which will finish with a showcase final at the Olympic Park, is to transform competitive sport in schools.

Meanwhile, culture secretary Jeremy Hunt has also been in the county today – just 238 days before the world's top athletes descend on London.
