CELEBRATED columnist, author and interviewer Lynda Lee-Potter OBE is the guest speaker at Kent's next Women in Business Luncheon.

The award-winning Daily Mail journalist will address the county's businesswomen at the Ramada Jarvis, Maidstone, on 26 March 2003, on the subject of "Bold is Best".

Organised by Business Link Kent, the county's leading independent business advice service, the March lunch will be held with the Women in Business organisation, a networking group based in the South East.

Carole Black, Business Link Kent's Events Manager, said: "We are honoured to have such a high calibre, award-winning speaker and this is a great opportunity for Kent women to get together and gain inspiration from a first class professional. The aim of these luncheons is to attract women running their own firms, those considering setting up on their own or who have decision making roles within businesses and feel they need a wider network of support."

Elaine Purse, East Kent Branch Co-ordinator of the Women in Business Organisation, said: "We're trying to encourage women to get involved in network clubs in the way that men do, in a supportive, non-threatening and enjoyable environment. The conference will also provide good opportunities for women to make new business contacts."
