Meet the Roman goddess of flesh!

A wildcat kitten at a Kent conservation park Wildwood has been christened Carna by competition winners.

Wildwood, at Herne Common, near Herne Bay received more than 200 entries in their quest to name the kitten.

The task of choosing the most appropriate fell to keepers Ali Bennett and Christine Read, who opted for Carna.

Carna was the Roman goddess of flesh so the name was deemed suitable for a carnivore such as a wildcat.

The winners of the competition have received a family ticket for entry into the park, but have asked to remain anonymous.
