Two men who threw water bombs at partygoers in Folkestone have been fined.

Officers stopped the men, who are both aged 20, in a car in Marine Parade on Friday night.

When questioned, the men – one from Folkestone and the other from Dover – admitted throwing the bombs through the car windows at passers-by enjoying a night out in the town.

They were reported for public order offences and issued with fixed penalty notices and £80 fines.
