Folkestone Invicta moved into the next round of the FA Trophy after casting aside ThamesmeadTown 3-1.

Darren Smith netted twice and Roy Guiver, on dual registration with Deal Town, scored once, and despite a late Bradley Spice penalty, it proved more than enough to earn a comfortable second qualifying round win.

Cray Wanderers overturned a half-time deficit to beat Carshalton Athletic 2-1 in a fiery encounter in Ryman League Premier Division.

Chris Henry saw red for Athletic before Luke Pigden gave Carshalton a surprise lead, then Cray’s Mark Willy was also sent from the park just before the hour.

However, late goals from Ross Lover and Laurent Hamici ensured the Wands stole the points.

Ramsgate also came from behind to earn a point against Metropolitan Police in Ryman League Division 1 South.

Eddie Smith gave Met Police the lead inside 60 seconds, but Warren Schulz levelled and that’s how it stayed at Southwood.

Paul Vines netted twice for Bromley as they swept past a weakened Margate side in the Kent Senior Cup.

Vines scored both goals – one from the spot – just before half-time as they eased to victory.
