Cray Wanderers spurned the chance to move into the top-three of Ryman League, Premier Division on Tuesday night.

Wands were held to a goalless draw by Canvey Island at Hayes Lane and remain sixth, one point outside the play-offs and six behind leaders Billericay.

Ramsgate inflicted a 3-2 defeat on Folkestone Invicta who missed the chance to close within three points of the Division 1 South leaders.

Invicta twice came from behind with goals from James Everitt on 22 minutes and Simon Austin 22 minutes from time but saw their nine match unbeaten run ended at Southwood.

The Rams are up to ninth and four points off the play-off places after goals from Pascal Ebigbo on eight minutes, the returning Ian Pulman just after the half-hour and Ebigbo's winner 13 minutes from time.

Sittingbourne came from being three times but went down 4-3 in a roller-coaster game at promotion-chasing Whitehawk.

Bryan Glover cancelled-out an early Hawks strike on seven minutes and Joe Goldsmith penalties either side of the break brought Bourne level at 2-2 and then 3-3.

However the hosts netted a fourth and missed a late penalty to seal victory and leave the Brickies in 15th.

Hythe Town earned a 1-1 draw at Corinthian Casuals to go 11th.

The visitors made a strong start but play-off chasing Casuals took the lead on the break on 36 minutes with a lob.

Town rallied with Craig Thompson having a shot cleared off the line and Jimmy Dryden striking the bar with a free-kick but it was subsistute Taser Hassan who struck a low shot from 25 yards which earned a point seven minutes from time.

In Division 1 North, Thamesmead Town went down 2-1 at home to struggling Maldon & Tiptree to lose ground on the play-off-chasing pack.
