A BROTHER and sister reported missing by their mother on Saturday, have been found safe and well.

Police launched an urgent search for Jack and Stephanie Parkes, when their mum woke to find they were not in their flat in Gun Lane, Strood.

After checking for seven-year-old Jack and Stephanie, 10, in local parks and with relatives, she reported them missing just after 11am.

A police helicopter scoured Medway and officers were seen searching the grounds of All Faith’s Children’s Community School and the neighbouring Medical Centre in Gun Lane.

Fears were laid to rest when the children turned up at Medway Police Station in Purser Way, Gillingham, just after 5.30pm.

They had been walking around Rochester and Gillingham and are believed to have become lost.
